Our Story

Herself Haven was born from both personal experience and professional expertise. As someone with ADHD, I know first-hand how struggles with food, body image and self-worth can become deeply intertwined especially for women who feel the weight of perfectionism, people pleasing and all-or-nothing thinking.

As a specialist in disordered eating, body image and ADHD, I created this space because I simply needed it myself. A place full of real understanding, clear guidance and empowerment.

Too often, support only shows up when things are already falling apart. I believe in stepping in earlier, before guilt, burnout or shame take over. Herself Haven exists to break that cycle, helping women build peace with food, kindness toward their bodies and confidence that lasts.

This isn’t just about food or body image.

What we do

It’s about how your brain works. The habits you’ve built to cope, the stories you’ve been told about discipline and the pressure to be someone you’re not. When ADHD is part of the picture, it adds a whole extra layer. That’s why this work has to start with self-understanding, not self-criticism.

Herself Haven is personal for me.

As a former performer who spent years in the spotlight, I know what it’s like to be hyper-aware of how you’re seen. Even when you love the work, there’s a quiet pressure to adjust yourself. Whether it’s to fit the role, to be palatable, to stay in control.

And as an ADHD’er, I also know how intense it can feel to live inside a brain sensitive to rejection, emotional swings and wanting everything to be perfect. It's not just exhausting, it’s isolating.

I’ve struggled with food, body image and self-worth and I know how easy it is to believe that the solution is "pushing through". But that only leads to burnout and self-blame.

I created Herself Haven because I don’t believe women should have to keep correcting themselves physically or emotionally, just to feel normal. Real confidence comes from understanding your brain, listening to your body and offering yourself the same compassion you give to everyone else.

Herself Haven is for the woman who’s done the work but still feels stuck. The one who’s tired of fixing, masking. second-guessing and is finally ready to feel safe in who she is.

“I can see the transformation not just physically but mentally and emotionally.

I’ve built solid habits, developed a healthier mindset and created a sustainable approach to wellness that feels like a part of who I am now. I couldn’t have done it without your incredible guidance and support. I’m so proud of what we’ve accomplished together."

Steph's talk was incredible. It was broken down really well, I love how it was also science based.

Steph's talk was incredible. It was broken down really well, I love how it was also science based. It's a conversation to be had more frequently, to provide more support and less shame to the subject. I would absolutely recommend!
